Identity [Ident]

The Identity function returns a value unmodified. It is primarily used as a placeholder. Parameters ------------------ Value         The value to use in the calculation. This is typically a field in a data series or a calculated value. Function Value ------------------------ The Identity of a value is itself. It does not modify the value in any way. This function is useful in situations where raw data can not be used directly. It is also inserted by the formula editor when an additional level is added to a formula.
