The Is Crossing Above function indicates when a field crosses above a given threshold. Parameters ------------------ Data          The value to compare. This is typically a field in a data series or a calculated value. Threshold  The threshold to compare the data to. This can be a constant, a field, or a calculated value. Function Value ------------------------ The function returns +1 only when the field actually crosses above the threshold. In all other situations, it returns 0. For example, in the table below, notice how the value is +1 only when the closing price actually crosses above the value 3. For example, this function can be used to determine when a field crosses above its moving average. Crossing functions are typically used in entry/exit systems to generate signals when one value rises above another value.
