TS Tip Box: How to Select Inputs

This TradingSolutions Tip Box video describes the different types of inputs available in TradingSolutions. Inputs can range from raw data of a particular asset (High, Low, Open, Close, Volume), a technical indicator (Moving Average, Stochastic, etc.), another asset's raw data or indicator (i.e. S&P 500 Close, etc.) and also Optimizable Functions.

An Optimizable Function is like any other function in TradingSolutions. However, the parameter's value can be optimized to find the best solution for your neural network model. For example, while a Moving Average (Close, 21) may work well on your particular asset, through optimization you may be able to improve the neural network model by optimizing the moving average indicator that could result in a Moving Average (Close, 20).
