Customizing Chart Options

Several of the defaults can be changed for the charts when they are being displayed. These defaults can be modified from the Modify Options Dialog: Charting page.

·      Display Horizontal/Vertical Lines under Mouse

Horizontal and vertical lines can be displayed under the mouse while it is moving over the Chart View. These lines are also known as crosshairs. This is useful for visually comparing values across different dates or different sub-charts.

·      Display Value Axis to Right of Charts

The Value Axis (y-axis) of the Chart View can be displayed to the right of the charts along with a label for the most recent value on the chart. This can be favorable for streaming charts since the most recent values are typically viewed most often.

·      Initial Date Range for Charts

The initial date range to load and display in the Chart View can be adjusted for each periodicity of data.

·      Values to Display in Default Chart

The Chart button on the Information View displays the Default Chart. The values displayed in this chart can be selected from a list of values.
